Wayfarer's Lodge has been a pillar of our community for over 50 years. In that time our facility has grown
significantly, starting out as a one-room clubhouse and growing incrementally to its present day form. In that
same period of time our adjacent community has grown and changed just as significantly. What started out as a
quiet, friendly neighborhood on the north side of town has changed and today faces the problems of many
inner-city neighborhoods. Recently, we questioned if it would be possible for the lodge to remain in our current
location.
The City of Phoenix has now enacted a plan to revitalize Hatcher Road immediately south of our lodge. This will have a
tremendous positive effect on the area about the lodge and on the lodge itself. Here are two links about the plan.
