Freemasons are the world's oldest, largest and most respected fraternity, committed to making good
men better. There are nearly two million Masons in the United States, approximately
five million world-wide. Masons have been an integral part of Arizona history
from the very beginning. The Grand Lodge of Arizona was organized in 1882 and there
are today more than 60 Masonic Lodges throughout Arizona, including one
Spanish speaking Lodge and three Research Lodges.
Wayfarers Lodge #50 was formed in 1955 by Masons living in and about the Sunnyslope
